Pear Park Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental Baptist church. At Pear Park, you will find friendly people and a family atmosphere. We are a Bible-centered church with old-fashioned values. Since 1903, the church has ministered to the Grand Junction community. Bible preaching, evangelistic outreach, traditional sacred music, discipleship, and righteous living are important elements of Pear Park. With a love for people and a heart for the Lord, we want to glorify God. Come worship the Lord with us.

History

Pear Park Baptist Church was organized on June 11, 1903, with 13 charter members. Land at the current location was donated, and a building was erected. In January of 1904, the Sunday School was organized. As a country church Pear Park had outreach to the community with mission Sunday Schools at the Fruitvale, Garfield, and Allen school houses.

Our Mission

It is our mission at Pear Park Baptist Church to bring glory to God by evangelizing the Christless, exemplifying the Savior, edifying the church, and equipping the saints, through prayer, Scripture, holiness, ministry, and Holy Spirit leading.

Our church staff is devoted to the work of the Lord and has a passion to serve.

Pear Park Baptist School

Pear Park Baptist School offers sound Christian education for grades K-12. We offer a traditional classroom setting and teachers who love the Lord. The atmosphere provides students with personal attention and strong academics.
